Initiators
The Patriarchal Foundation Mudra Sprava, considering the consequences of the destruction of Ukrainian cities and villages in the frontline regions and following the educational initiatives of the Righteous Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky, launched the Healing Communities Educational Project for Communities.
Goal
To rebuild socio-economic life in the regions of Ukraine directly affected by the Russian war against Ukraine by providing professional knowledge, psychological rehabilitation, spiritual support, and hope.

Objectives
1. Develop a detailed and effective training program and engage leading experts and lecturers on leadership, resilience, psychology, and the history of Ukraine.
2. Develop a program of individual and group psychological rehabilitation, involving relevant psychologists, psychotherapists, and trainers.
3. Develop a plan for providing spiritual support and conversations, involving clergy.
4. Develop a plan for engaging different segments of the population and selecting program participants when visiting frontline communities.
5. Find a place to conduct the educational program with the possibility of a five-day stay.
6. Conduct an educational program for 10 communities in January-June 2024.
7. Issue certificates of completion of the program to participants.
8. Offer program graduates further support and steps to implement their projects.
We succeeded
To develop a detailed and effective training program involving leading experts and lecturers on leadership, resilience, psychology, and the history of Ukraine.
To develop a program of psychological rehabilitation, both in an individual and group format, involving relevant psychologists, psychotherapists, and trainers.
To develop a plan for providing spiritual support and conversations, involving clergy.
To visit 13 communities and meet with their representatives, selecting 10 of them for the educational course.
To enlist the support of the Patriarchal House in Lviv for the program and accommodation of its participants.
To conduct an educational program for 10 communities in January-June 2024.
To issue certificates of completion of the program to the participants.
To offer graduates of the program further support and steps to implement their projects through the Action in Hope Program or support from the UGCC Counselling Center.
