Initiators

Mudra Sprava Patriarchal Foundation in cooperation with Ukrainians abroad and concerned benefactors from around the world to solve the needs for heat, electricity, light, and communication of those affected by Russian attacks on critical infrastructure.

Goal

Providing access to heat, light, electricity, and communications to those affected by Russian attacks on critical infrastructure. At the same time, an equally important goal for us was to create a kind of space for mutual assistance and support on the basis of the Good Samaritan points of invincibility.

Duration

January — March 2023.

Objectives

1. To create and approve a plan for the Good Samaritan resilience center.

2. Establish cooperation by signing contracts with component manufacturers and construction companies.

3. To offer invincibility points to parish centers in the most affected regions and create a kind of network.

4. Deliver the Good Samaritan stations to the places where they are installed, with the support of the UGCC Logistics Center.

5. Ensure the functioning of the invincibility points at parish centers.

6. To further monitor the work and functioning of the centers.

We succeeded:

Approve the plan of the Good Samaritan resilience center, taking into account the challenges and current needs of Ukrainians.

Provide each indestructibility point with ventilation, heating and a stove, access to high-speed Internet from Starlink, the ability to cook and heat food and recharge your phone (for 50 people at a time).

Establish cooperation by signing partnership agreements with component manufacturers and construction companies.

To set up and deliver 25 resilience centers in three stages, placing them in the most affected regions across Ukraine.

Establish cooperation with 25 parish centers that have agreed to host and ensure the effective functioning of the Good Samaritan stations: Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, Ternivka, Kropyvnytskyi, Makariv, Irpin, Brovary, Pozniaky neighborhood in Kyiv, and others.

Expand the functionality of the Good Samaritan resilience center to include humanitarian, psychological and spiritual assistance, educational meetings and places of prayer.
