At the initiative of the Patriarchal Foundation Mudra Sprava, 200 hot meals are distributed every Tuesday at 13:00 at the parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

“As long as the weather is cold, our ministry in Irpin is quite relevant!” says Father Myroslav Latynnyk, the parish rector. “We are happy to be able to warm everyone in need with hot meals and care, as well as those who find themselves in difficulties,” he adds.

According to the organisers, the assistance will be available to internally displaced people from the war zone, people with disabilities, low-income people and people in difficult life circumstances

It is worth noting that the parish volunteers also deliver and distribute these meals to the modular town ‘Lastivka’ located in Irpin, as well as to lonely people and the elderly in the city.

“We express our gratitude for the support and initiative of the Patriarchal Charitable Foundation Mudra Sprava, Father Lyubomyr Yavorskyy and Father Oleh Panchyniak, rector of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary parish of the UGCC in Irpin. Father Myroslav Latynnyk and Father Vitaliy Voyetsa, as well as the volunteers of Caritas-Irpin, which operates at the parish, for their help and to all those who help in these difficult times,” the organisers of the distribution noted at the end of their Facebook post.
