On December 4, the UGCC Consulting Center launched a series of educational fundraising seminars in the Sokal-Zhovkva Eparchy.

At the invitation of the ruling bishop, Petro Loza, the Curia of the Sokal-Zhovkva Eparchy, and the econome Fr. Vitaliy Lupiy, the UGCC Consulting Center team kicked off with a lecture dedicated to fundraising as a strategy for ministry development.
“Today, every eparchy and parish faces a challenge: how to secure the necessary resources for good deeds, social projects, and pastoral activities. That is why fundraising is becoming an essential skill for priests and laity who want to serve more effectively,” noted Maryna Danyliv, director of the UGCC Consulting center.
The first meeting in Zhovkva brought together about 30 participants—clergy and active parishioners—eager to learn how to attract resources for the development of their communities. “The atmosphere was very lively: many questions, an exchange of contacts, professional interest, and a readiness to act,” added the speaker.
It is worth noting that participants of the training course can look forward to three more seminar-lectures focused on the practical aspects of fundraising. The next meeting will take place next Thursday.
