“These two months with you uplifted and inspired me,” — Natalia Mokriak on her participation in the “Action in Hope” project

April 11, 2025

From April 8–9, 2025, twenty local community members in Kropyvnytskyi successfully concluded over two months of training in the “Action in Hope” mini-MBA program by defending their projects. This initiative was organized by the Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava” with the support of its benefactors.

“These two months with you uplifted and inspired me,” — Natalia Mokriak on her participation in the “Action in Hope” project

One of the program’s participants was Natalia Mokriak. Upon its completion, she not only shared her impressions and achievements but also recalled a captivating moment of getting to know and meeting the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, and His Beatitude Sviatoslav in particular. “I’ll write here what I couldn’t say in the hall. I’m a very easily moved person, and I didn’t want to spoil our elevated mood with my memories,” Ms. Natalia began her message. According to her, she is not a believer, although she is baptized and attends church on Easter. “But as they say: ‘When trouble calls, then you turn to God’,” the participant continued.

“There was a period in my life when I didn’t know where to go or who to ask for help. My mind knew that no one could help me. But I so longed for support and for someone to reassure me that everything would be alright. And such people were found. Among them — Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk and the entire UGCC. At that time, I didn’t need money or other material goods. I needed a word of support. And I received it,” Ms. Natalia shared candidly.

“And these two months I spent with you both uplifted and inspired me. Thank you to the holy fathers, thank you to the UGCC, thank you to our teachers. May God protect us all, and most of all, our Ukraine,” Ms. Natalia Mokriak concluded.

Meanwhile, the “Action in Hope” mini-MBA educational and outreach program continues. The Pidhorodne and Poltava communities are next to join.
