The UGCC Patriarchal Economate team visited the Knights of Columbus Supreme Office in the USA

The team of the Patriarchal Economate of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church recently conducted a working visit to the Supreme Office of the fraternal organization Knights of Columbus in New Haven, Connecticut, USA.

The delegation included Father Lubomyr Yavorskyi, Patriarchal Economos of the UGCC; Iryna Havryshkevych, Head of the Projects Department of the Patriarchal Curia; and Nataliia Parkulab, Head of the Financial Department of the UGCC.

The meeting was held with Tyler Lomnitzer, Manager of Member Engagement and Coordinator of humanitarian projects for Ukraine. He is also responsible for programs aimed at supporting life, including initiatives that uphold the value of human life from conception to natural death.

During the conversation, Father Lubomyr Yavorskyy presented the activities of the Patriarchal Curia and the Mudra Sprava Patriarchal Foundation. He also expressed gratitude to the representatives of the Order for their ongoing service and support of Ukraine.

“The Knights of Columbus community are not just partners, but true friends. Therefore, our visit to their Supreme Office was primarily a visit of courtesy and gratitude. At the same time, we had the opportunity to discuss our plans and future projects for the development of their organization in Ukraine and for the well-being of the Ukrainian people,” noted Fr. Lubomyr Yavorskyy.

The Knights of Columbus is one of the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organizations, founded in 1882 in the USA. Its activities are focused on spiritual formation, charity, and the support of family and Christian values.
