The UGCC parish of the Three Holy Hierarchs in Brovary delivered humanitarian Aid to IDPs once again

December 15, 2025

The parish of the Three Holy Hierarchs of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Brovary has once again become a hub of support for those most affected by the war. Recently, another distribution of humanitarian aid took place for internally displaced persons (IDPs) from frontline and temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine.

Thanks to the joint efforts of the parish community, donors, and partner organizations, food packages were provided to displaced people from the East and South of Ukraine. Assistance was received by people forced to flee their homes in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Dobropillia, Severodonetsk, Zaporizhzhia, the Kherson region, and other settlements impacted by the hostilities.

Among the recipients were retirees, persons with disabilities, single mothers, and families with children with disabilities—groups for whom such support is vital for survival.

The parish priest, Fr. Oleh Panchyniak, expressed his sincere gratitude to all donors contributing to this work of mercy, regardless of their country of residence. According to him, the aid provided is not only material support but also a symbol of the unity, love, and solidarity of the Ukrainian people during the war.

Following the distribution of the humanitarian kits, participants joined in prayer for peace in Ukraine, for the Ukrainian defenders, and for the swift return of all displaced persons to their homes.

The UGCC parish of the Three Holy Hierarchs expresses its gratitude to the Mudra Sprava Patriarchal Foundation, the UGCC Consulting Center, and its long-standing partners—the “Posokh” Charitable Foundation—who consistently support those in need and help identify those who require assistance most.
