On December 10, 2024, the team of the UGCC Consulting Center, at the invitation of Khrystyna Reshetylo-Kovalchuk, an employee of the Patriarchal Commission for Family and Laity, participated in an expert group meeting on the project ‘Strengthening Eparchial Family Centres’.
According to the organizers, this project involves conducting both online and offline seminars for key personnel of existing and potential diocesan family centres. Participants of the meeting had the opportunity to discuss current challenges in the activities of such centres, relevant topics for seminars, and the latest developments and publications of the Commission in this context.
Maryna Danyliv, head of the UGCC Consulting Center, added that the plans also include developing an adaptive financial model and ways to promote the activities of such centres.
“Sharing experiences between such centres is crucial as it enables the development of a meaningful organizational model that will best meet the challenges and opportunities of today,” emphasizes Maryna Danyliv.
It is worth reminding that the UGCC Consulting Center was established to support and develop social entrepreneurial initiatives and charitable projects of local communities within the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Additionally, the Center aims to establish comprehensive connections between pastoral and economic components to ensure the sustainable development of the Church.
