The Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava” launched another stage of the transformational project for communities
January 30, 2025
Recently, the Kirovohrad community joined the educational program mini-MBA “Action in Hope,” which is organized by the team of the Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava” for the umpteenth time.
The venue for the first meeting to introduce the program and participants was the Church of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist of the UGCC in Kropyvnytskyi. The place was chosen intentionally, as some of the program participants are the local parish community. In addition, public activists, volunteers, representatives of charitable organizations and businesses, and entrepreneurs joined in acquiring new knowledge and skills.
Father Lyubomyr Yavorskyy, program coordinator and head of “Mudra Sprava,” and Svitlana Buhai, lecturer, business practitioner, and co-author of many projects, arrived in Kropyvnytskyi to present the mini-MBA “Action in Hope” program. According to Svitlana, this program helps develop leadership skills and promotes positive changes in society.
The guests then spoke about the structure of the program, its goals, and opportunities for participants. It includes both offline and online meetings and training sessions. Participants also learned how the training will help them realize their ideas to become a driving force in their community.
Natalia Liahul, a local volunteer and participant in the meeting, notes that this is a unique program that not only promotes the development of leadership qualities but also qualitatively changes people’s lives, encouraging them to actively participate in social life.
According to the participants of the meeting, the atmosphere of the event was inspiring, full of ideas, questions, and dialogue. From now on, the Kirovohrad community has started the selection for training under the mini-MBA program.
It should be recalled that the purpose of the educational program “Action in Hope” is to change and develop Ukrainian society by training active people — entrepreneurs, businessmen, public activists, opinion leaders, representatives of government and local self-government. The program helps them launch and develop their projects, as well as establish cooperation with each other.
The first community to join the training was the Zelenodolsk community. For six months in 2023, 30 residents of the Zelenodolsk community learned to form their own idea, strategize, create projects, and present them.
“With this project, the Church went out of the temples, from within, and came to the people, so that in the spirit of Metropolitan Andrei Sheptytsky, who even during the Second World War taught the faithful and clergy, now with Patriarch Sviatoslav to launch such projects and scale them, multiply them,” Father Lyubomyr Yavorskyy noted at the end of this stage of the project.
