The Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava” Delivers a Generator to Lyceum No. 59 in Kyiv
March 20, 2026
The Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava” continues to support educational institutions in the capital amidst ongoing energy challenges. This time, assistance was provided to Kyiv Lyceum No. 59, which received a high-capacity generator to ensure the stable operation of the facility.

Thanks to the provided equipment, the lyceum’s academic buildings and cafeteria will be able to function uninterrupted, even during power outages. This intervention will preserve a safe, organized, and continuous educational process for the students, while also maintaining proper conditions for their daily meals.
Crucially, these generators are purchased and delivered through international solidarity and the generosity of donors. In particular, this specific project was made possible by a fundraising campaign organized by the Archdiocese of Kraków in Poland. Initiated by Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś with the backing of church partners, the funds were directly allocated to purchasing generators and essential equipment for Ukraine. International benefactors continue to play a vital role by responding to appeals to support Ukrainians during the war.
The Holosiivskyi District State Administration in the City of Kyiv, along with the Department of Education of the Holosiivskyi District State Administration and the lyceum administration, expressed their sincere gratitude to the Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava” for this timely and incredibly important support.

This example of cooperation demonstrates once again that by joining forces, the community, local authorities, and charitable organizations can secure proper conditions for children’s education, even during the most challenging periods.
