The final training module of the “Action in Hope” program took place in Kropyvnytskyi

During the three days, participants had the opportunity to reflect on the three pillars of successful business and its development — communication, team, and motivation. These topics were explored with the help of lecturer Svitlana Buhai, business trainer, consultant, Top facilitator, and one of the co-authors of the program.

First, the participants discussed communication strategic planning, channel selection, building trust, and influencing their audience through clear messages. Various tactics were also presented, how to adapt communication to different audiences, negotiate, and avoid typical mistakes. The program participants became convinced that communication requires careful and intelligent work to be effective.

Further, the attendees were convinced that a strong business or initiative starts with the right team. To build it, it is not enough to gather people, even if they are professionals and experts in their field. It is also important to build the right model of teamwork, of which there are several. It is especially important to agree on the principles of the distribution of roles and responsibilities. According to Svitlana Buhai, “We also discussed various methods on how to avoid conflicts, how to develop a culture of cooperation, and what makes a team truly effective.”

What motivates people? How to interest a team so that they not only do the job but also become ambassadors of a common cause? In search of answers to these questions, the training participants analysed internal and external motivation, engagement tools, and how to create an environment where people want to work and develop.

Thus, this training module was the last, and now the participants of the mini-MBA “Action in Hope” program will defend their own projects, on which they have been working since the beginning of their studies. This will take place on April 8–9, 2025.
