The “Action in Hope” Mini MBA Educational Program Launches in Samar
March 27, 2026
On March 20–22, the “Action in Hope” mini MBA educational project launched in the city of Samar. Organized by the Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava,” the initiative aims to support active citizens, foster entrepreneurship, and strengthen community capacity through education and practical tools.

The program brings together 28 participants representing a diverse, cross-sectoral mix of professions and fields: individual entrepreneurs, directors of local community cultural centers, founders of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), charitable foundation staff, lawyers, physicians, directors of children’s educational institutions, civil servants, commercial representatives, and local enterprise employees. This intersectoral composition creates a dynamic environment for exchanging experience, sharing ideas, and forging new partnerships.
The first module opened with a solemn inaugural ceremony led by Father Lyubomyr Yavorskyy, the project coordinator. In his address, he emphasized the critical importance of uniting faith, social responsibility, and professional development as the foundation for societal recovery and sustainable growth.
The academic training for this module was conducted by Svitlana Buhay—a business trainer, lecturer at the Ukrainian Catholic University, and seasoned expert in leadership and entrepreneurship development. She delivered a series of lectures covering “Personal Effectiveness,” “Business Modeling,” and “Project Management.” Her pedagogical approach seamlessly blends theoretical knowledge with practical tools, enabling participants to immediately implement their newly acquired skills into their respective professional activities.
The ultimate goal of the “Action in Hope” mini MBA program is to cultivate a new generation of leaders capable of acting responsibly in challenging environments, designing socially impactful initiatives, and advancing their own ventures. Beyond acquiring business and managerial insights, participants actively develop their own project ideas, with the long-term prospect of securing resources for their execution.
The next module of the program is scheduled for March 27–29 and will focus on the further advancement of the participants’ projects and the deepening of their managerial competencies.
