Poltava community becomes third to join “Action in Hope” training program

As noted by Father Lyubomyr Yavorskyy, Director of Mudra Sprava, the foundation first engaged with Poltava during the “Healing Communities” educational and rehabilitation project. That initiative brought ten Ukrainian communities to Lviv’s Patriarchal House for skill-building, knowledge acquisition, and psychological, emotional, and spiritual recovery. Each community concluded their participation with a strategic session, fostering deeper understanding of their local context and representatives.

“Thus, from the ten communities, we selected the three most capable and active for participation in the next project. We considered the involvement of activists, businessmen, and public figures, the openness of local authorities to change, and — no less important — the activity of the local clergy. As in previous communities — Kropyvnytskyi and Pidhorodne — all these factors aligned,” the priest continued.

During the first training module, held from April 14–16 in Poltava, participants had the opportunity to delve into the program’s key topics. They explored the principles of ethical business, worked on their personal effectiveness, learned the basics of business modelling, and collectively reflected on the goals and format of the training course. The training took place in an atmosphere of openness, mutual respect, and genuine interest.

“Indeed, after the very first meeting with representatives of the Poltava community, our team felt a very great interest on their part, an irresistible desire to learn new things and rebuild their native home,” Father Lyubomyr summarized the results of the first training module in Poltava.

As a reminder, the Pidhorodne community from the Dnipropetrovsk region will be the fourth community to join the “Action in Hope” mini-MBA program. Project organizers recently visited Pidhorodne to present the educational and outreach program.
