Father Lyubomyr met with Father Andriy Nasinnyk, Director of Caritas Kharkiv. The latter spoke about the activities of Caritas in the conditions of the war, about supporting the most affected and needy, as well as about plans for the further development of charitable initiatives.

He also met with Bishop Vasyl Tuchapets, Exarch of Kharkiv, who showed him around and told him about the activities of the humanitarian hub, which provides comprehensive support to victims of the Russian war against Ukraine at the Cathedral of St Nicholas the Wonderworker. “After seeing this, I had a desire and inspiration to do even more to bring victory closer through solidarity and mutual support of each other,” Fr Lyubomyr wrote on his Facebook page.

The bishop also showed the Good Samaritan point of invincibility, which was established through the efforts of the Patriarchal Foundation Mudra Sprava.

In the end, Fr Lyubomyr shared his impressions of the meeting: “I had an inspiring and unique meeting with our Bishop Vasyl Tuchapets, Exarch of Kharkiv, who is already known in Kharkiv for his tireless support of the needy and hungry. And in this case, we are talking not only about physical hunger, but also spiritual hunger. The bishop successfully combines charitable work with a life of prayer, to which he invites everyone.”
