“Mudra Sprava” delivers humanitarian aid to war-affected Sumy

March 26, 2025

On March 26, the Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava” team delivered humanitarian aid from the Slovak Republic’s Ministry of Interior to Caritas Sumy. This aid, including first-aid kits, linen, footwear, and children’s clothing, is designated for those impacted by ongoing military actions.

The transfer comes as the Sumy region faces relentless Russian attacks.

For example, a missile strike on central Sumy on March 24 wounded dozens, including 17 children, and damaged residential buildings and a school. Many suffered cuts from glass shards as the strike hit a densely populated area near schools, kindergartens, and a hospital.

Caritas Sumy confirmed they would swiftly distribute all received aid to those in need.

This marks the third humanitarian package from the Slovak government to support Ukrainians most affected by the war.
