Mini-MBA “Action in Hope” program concludes with project defense in third community
June 8, 2025
On June 6, the “Action in Hope” mini-MBA educational and outreach program successfully concluded in another Poltava community. The program, organized by the team of lecturers and mentors from the Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava,” culminated in participants defending their own social and entrepreneurial initiatives.
The program consisted of five training modules covering key areas: management, communication, finance, project design, business modelling, personal development, teamwork, and leadership. This comprehensive approach allowed participants not only to gain knowledge but also to develop concrete projects for implementation in their communities.
Among the projects proposed by participants were a coffee shop-bookstore, catering with a social component, growing and selling organic greens, a hairdressing studio, a pet store, a floral center, as well as a souvenir space, a broadcasting area, a costume character agency, and an outerwear sewing workshop. A portion of the projects are also designed to address the consequences of the Russian Ukrainian war: mobile support for children and women, educational and psychological courses for women with children and IDPs, a center for treating post-traumatic scars, a digital creativity studio for children with disabilities, and a rehabilitation sanatorium.
Representatives of the commission that received the project defences — lecturers and mentors of the program — noted a positive trend in each project, which was characterized by a social component and a desire to address challenges in their community.
The completion of the program does not mean its end — each participant now has the opportunity to receive individual support from the UGCC Consulting Center to translate their initiative into real change.
This is already the third community to complete the mini-MBA program, following earlier completions in the Zelenodolsk and Kropyvnytskyi communities. The initiative aims to revive local communities and support social initiatives by engaged individuals who strive to act in hope, transforming the reality around them.
