Medical clinics of Kyiv region received food packages
October 3, 2024
Not only with food packages, but also with a kind word and support — this was the message of the regular visit of the parish community of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the UGCC in Irpin to medical clinics in Kyiv region.
On October 1–2, 2024, the parish community of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, led by Fathers Myroslav Latynnyk and Vitaliy Voyetsa, handed over electrically heated mattresses for babies and food packages to the Irpin Maternity Hospital and the Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Social Services in Borodianka.
The food packages were compiled and provided by the Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava” thanks to the financial support of the clergy and faithful of the Melbourne Eparchy of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Australia, as well as the CNEWA Charitable Organization. The electrically heated mattresses for infants were donated by Sergiy and Yaroslava Slava.
“We visited medical institutions in the Kyiv region and handed over these gifts to meet the needs and partially support the functioning of these institutions. As always, we had a great opportunity to communicate, meet with doctors and patients, and we were especially happy about the success of each medical institution, which continues to operate thanks to its managers, employees and benefactors!” the volunteers said after the visit.
“We would like to thank all the doctors who sacrificially serve our patients and their families! Only together we are strong!” said the organizers of the charity event.
As a reminder, given the continuation of the bloody and deadly russian war against Ukraine and the subsequent consequences in the form of infrastructure destruction, the Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava” continued the project of forming and distributing food packages.
As of today, more than 350 thousand people have been provided with food packages that can feed two people for a week.
