December 29, 2025
The parish of the Maccabean Martyrs in Beryslav, Kherson region, with the support of the Patriarchal Charitable Foundation “Mudra Sprava,” has implemented another humanitarian initiative for residents of the region’s frontline communities. Assistance was provided to both local residents and internally displaced persons who are in dire need of support due to the ongoing war.

Through the efforts of Fr. Lyubomyr Yavorskyy, Patriarchal Econome of the UGCC, and Fr. Oleh Panchynyak, the coordinator, three pallets of food packages were delivered to the Beryslav district. “Humanitarian Nova Poshta” also played a significant role in the initiative by providing free shipping for the humanitarian cargo.
A specific portion of the aid was directed to the Tiahynka community. In total, 336 food packages containing essential daily supplies were distributed to local families. The aid reached both long-term residents and IDPs, for whom such support serves as a vital sign of solidarity and human care.
The parish emphasizes that each food parcel represents more than just material support; it is a testament to hope, faith, and shared responsibility during these challenging times for the country. The organizers expressed their sincere gratitude to all benefactors, volunteers, and partners who contributed to this cause and continue to support the people of the Kherson region.
