Father Lyubomyr Yavorskyy, UGCC Patriarchal Econome, personally presented Ms. Grabinger with a Patriarchal Letter of Gratitude on her last day. The meeting also included Father Dr. Thomas Schwartz, Renovabis CEO, and Dr. Markus Ingenlath, the foundation’s Executive Director.

The letter praised Ms. Grabinger’s “calling to serve Christ’s Church in Eastern Europe” and Renovabis’ “support of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church during the war,” highlighting appreciation for her “pastoral and social initiatives and emergency aid projects.” It acknowledged her “deep sympathy for our needs, personal commitment and support at all stages of our cooperation, sincere openness, and empathy.”

Father Yavorskyy also discussed the UGCC’s pastoral and social ministry during the third year of the full-scale war, emphasizing the ongoing need for Renovabis support for the Church’s efforts. Discussions focused on strengthening pastoral and social initiatives and implementing urgent aid projects.

Participants stressed the importance of personal involvement, joint work, and support throughout the entire project cycle — from concept to implementation and monitoring. They highlighted the need for accessibility, openness, and a friendly approach when interacting with those in need, as well as among volunteers and organizers.

“I joined in thanking Ms. Theresa for her tremendous work in helping us with various Church projects,” said Father Yavorskyy. “Her service touched many eparchial economes. While we are sad to see her go, we are hopeful and confident that she will remain close to us with her heart, knowledge, competencies, and advice.”

The Patriarchal Econome concluded, “The meeting was a vital step in further strengthening our partnership and uniting efforts to help our neighbors and develop the Church during a difficult time.”
