Ethical Leadership as a Foundation for Change: The “Action in Hope” Program Continues in Kryvyi Rih
May 16, 2026
On May 15, the third module of the mini-MBA educational program “Action in Hope,” implemented by the Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava,” began in Kryvyi Rih. The participants of the program included entrepreneurs, business leaders, local government officials, civic activists, and public figures.

The first day of training was dedicated to the topic “Ethical Leadership.” The lecturer emphasized the role of values, responsibility, and service in shaping a true leader.
During the meeting, participants reflected on how life consists of striving for higher purpose rather than merely surviving. The lecturer highlighted three paths that a person continuously walks in their life: the path to oneself, to one’s neighbour, and to God. It is precisely their combination that forms a responsible community built on mutual support, communication, and trust.
Special attention during the lecture was paid to the values essential for ethical leadership. These included transparency, openness to change and development, humanity, solidarity, trust, mutual respect, justice, and inclusiveness. Participants also discussed the significance of Christian virtues—faith, hope, and love—as well as the cardinal virtues: wisdom, justice, courage, and moderation.
In the context of responsible entrepreneurship, the speaker turned to the figure of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky and his “Ten Rules of Business.” Among the key principles were honesty in conducting business, care for employees, adherence to ethical standards, social responsibility, and service to the common good.
The organizers emphasize that the “Action in Hope” mini-MBA program is designed to shape a new culture of leadership centered on the human person, community, and responsibility for the country’s future.
