Educational cooperation between the UGCC Consulting Center and pro-family organizations continues
February 27, 2025
On February 21, at the Patriarchal House in Lviv, the team of the UGCC Consulting Center, at the invitation of the Patriarchal Commission of the UGCC for Family Affairs, joined the second module of the project “Strengthening Lay Ministry in Parishes and Promoting Christian Values.” It is already a good tradition to involve professionals in such projects.
Maryna Danyliv, head of the UGCC Consulting Center, gave a lecture on financial activities and grant opportunities for leaders of pro-family movements.
During this, participants had the opportunity to discuss and deepen their knowledge on:
- how to plan the activities of Church communities and movements in a project format;
- how to write grant applications and prepare budgets;
- what financial challenges lay communities face and how to address them;
- the experience of the Consulting Center in working with grants and recommendations for leaders on how to write and implement projects, considering typical problems in this area;
- various project funding and support options, in addition to donor funds.
“Lay movements, youth communities, and other church initiatives often face funding difficulties, as they do not always have a separate legal structure. That is why it is important to develop financial literacy and look for stable sources of support,” the lecturer stressed.
“The participants of the lecture were satisfied, and we continue our educational mission!” added Maryna Danyliv.
