April 24, 2024
On April 18–22, 2024, the Novomoskovsk community from the Dnipro Oblast had the opportunity to enrich themselves with new knowledge and skills, as well as undergo psychological rehabilitation at the Healing Communities Program. The educational program was organised by the Patriarchal Foundation Mudra Sprava with the support of the Renovabis Charitable Foundation.
In Lviv, the participants enjoyed intensive training days with topics on leadership, resilience, psychology, and the history of Ukraine. “You can really feel the professionalism of the people who really put their hearts and souls into the training and lectures. The naked eye could see that people really knew and understood what they were talking about,” summed up Tatyana Pustovit.
In addition to the training, the participants were expected to participate in a cultural and spiritual program, including visits to the Sheptytsky Center of Ukrainian Catholic University and other historical and cultural sites in Lviv. Mariana Lazurenko, Director of the Oles Honchar Novomoskovsk City House of Culture, expressed gratitude to all the organisers of the program “for the fact that many people are bringing us back to God in a very powerful and emotional way, sincerely and beautifully through their work. And this excursion is such a proof of that. We are very grateful that it was in Lviv that we found a new place of strength for ourselves. I was very impressed by the monuments with hands turned to the Lord, as well as the church of St Sophia with the composition inside. I was also very impressed by the underground church, because I have only been to one in Krakow, a church made of salt.”
One of the participants was Stanislav Raduhin, a serviceman and now chief specialist of the Department for Work with Veterans, Internally Displaced Persons, and Interaction with Law Enforcement. “This is a very inspiring project that gives wisdom by putting knowledge on the shelves. It also unites people into one team, one huge energy that will move forward. I hope that it will continue to do a lot for people and the community, finding a common language with everyone,” he stressed.
