Bishop Vasyl Tuchapets Met with Large Families of the “FeMeLi” Organization

Bishop Vasyl Tuchapets, Exarch of Kharkiv of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, met on April 2 with large and low-income families under the care of the non-governmental organization “FeMeli.”

“Foundation of Maternal Love — ‘FeMeLi’ is a non-governmental organization of large, low-income families and individuals who find themselves in difficult life circumstances in Kharkiv.
During the meeting, bishop spoke with the families and listened attentively to their needs and the challenges they face amid the full-scale war. The discussion touched upon the difficulties of daily life, providing for children, access to basic resources, and the need for continuous support.
Such meetings are part of the broader social mission of the Church, which has been actively helping affected and vulnerable categories of the population since the beginning of the war. In particular, the Kharkiv Exarchate regularly organizes humanitarian initiatives aimed at supporting people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances.
As part of the meeting, possibilities for further cooperation and support for the families were also discussed. The event concluded with the distribution of food packages provided by the “Mudra Sprava” Patriarchal Foundation.
The meeting became another step forward in developing cooperation between the Church, non-governmental organizations, and families in need of assistance, demonstrating the importance of solidarity and support during a difficult time for the country.
