“Action in Hope” training program presented to Pidhorodne community in Dnipropetrovsk region
April 9, 2025
The educational and outreach mini-MBA program “Action in Hope” continues to expand, building a network of active leaders and community activists for community recovery and development. On April 7, 2025, the team from the Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava” visited the Pidhorodne City Council in the Dnipropetrovsk region to meet with local residents.
Entrepreneurs, activists, city council employees, and residents of the Pidhorodne community who dream of starting their own businesses or are already developing their own initiatives joined the meeting.
The main topic of the meeting was the presentation of the “Action in Hope” mini-MBA training program, conducted by the team from the Patriarchal Foundation “Mudra Sprava.” According to the project organizers, this program is designed for those who aim not just to open a business, but to transform their community for the better by implementing value-based approaches, modern management tools, and teamwork.
The program lasts four months and includes three stages: two months of offline training with instructors from across Ukraine, a two-day project defense, and another two months of individual support at the UGCC Consulting Center, where participants will learn to prepare grant applications to support their ideas. The training course itself consists of five modules and covers key topics for business development: personal effectiveness, ethical entrepreneurship, business modelling, marketing, project management, operational management, HR, leadership, PR, sales, communications, finance, clusters, and grant management.
“This program offers a unique chance for entrepreneurs, community leaders, and SMB managers to gain the knowledge, support, and tools needed for a strong launch or next growth phase. We’re especially pleased, as our community already has positive experience collaborating with the foundation through the ‘Healing Communities’ program,” stated the Pidhorodne territorial community.
In turn, Father Lyubomyr Yavorskyy shared positive impressions from the meeting and a great desire to start the training course. “During this first meeting, we met 20 new participants who had been pr and invited. Communicating with them and looking into their eyes, lit up with enthusiasm and initiative, seeing their readiness to learn and grow, you find the strength and inspiration to continue for the sake of victory and future peace,” said the priest.
It’s worth adding that the Pidhorodne community is now the third to participate in the training program, following the Zelenodolsk and Kropyvnytskyi communities. According to Father Lyubomyr, it is the closest to the front line and active hostilities, yet this did not hinder their desire and zeal to change themselves and their community now.
Soon, community representatives will begin their training lectures with leading instructors from the “Action in Hope” program.
