“A Christmas carol concert was held at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Family in London on December 11th,” announced Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski, head of the Eparchy of the Holy Family in London (UK), on his Facebook page.
Visitors to the cultural event were captivated by a harmonious blend of Ukrainian and English carols, performed by a talented ensemble including Ukrainian soprano Mariana Bodnar, the VIVO Quartet, the London Ukrainian Youth Choir, the Youth Theatre at the Richmond Social Club, and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields Orchestra.
All funds raised during the concert will go to the Patriarchal Foundation Mudra Sprava under the patronage of the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Family. This initiative aims to help Ukrainian communities recover from the war and build a stronger future.
Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski thanked Mariana Bodnar, St Martin’s Academy, and the Ukrainian Association of Great Britain (UGB) for this wonderful evening.
